HUCOG 5000 i.u. is another form of HCG medicine for treating infertility that increases the number of eggs produced and released from the ovaries. HCG works by replicating the hormone called luteinizing or LH which causes the follicles in the ovaries to release eggs. It can also be used to increase the sperm count in men caused due to lower testosterone and can be prescribed to treat disorders of the pituitary gland that can cause the testicles of young boys to not drop into the scrotum normally.
